Sezin Güner

Sezin Güner founded the Firm in 2015 after 12 years working with Pekin&Pekin Law Firm, one of Turkey’s top-ranked corporate law firms.

 

Sezin is a graduate of the Marmara University School of Law (2003) and has more than 13 years’ experience advising international and domestic clients. Prior to establishing the firm, she was a partner at one of Turkey’s top-ranked corporate law firms. 

 

Her expertise has also been recognised at the Istanbul Stock Exchange, where Sezin has been invited to speak about investment firms and investment activities in the field of capital markets legislation. 

 

Sezin's practice focuses on advising clients on corporate and regulatory matters in relation to their day-to-day operations, cross-border transactions, company incorporations, large-scale commercial contracts, M&A's, regulatory and marketing aspects of capital market transactions and products (including derivatives), banking activities, listings, public offerings and corporate governance. She has a diverse client list ranging from multinational to local corporates including; publicly listed companies, brokerage firms and banks, branches and representative offices of multi-national banks, housing finance companies and other financial institutions, joint stock companies, limited liability companies and liaison offices.

Ceyda Tapşın

Ceyda joined the Firm in early 2017 after working at Pekin&Pekin Law Firm for 11 years.

​

Following graduation from Istanbul University School of Law, Ceyda continued her education in the United Kingdom and completed a Masters in International Commercial Law (LL.M.) at the University of Kent, Canterbury.

​

Ceyda has more than 12 years experience in capital markets, banking, commercial and corporate law advising both international and domestic clients. Prior to joining the Firm, Ceyda was a Partner at one of Turkey’s top tier law firms. She is recognized as a leading lawyer by IFLR1000 for Capital Markets and M&A, and she was also noted by The Legal 500 for “having deep knowledge and a very client-friendly manner”.

She advises a variety of multinational and domestic corporates, and financial institutions including banks, brokerage firms, publicly listed companies, mutual funds and other regulated entities, on regulatory, commercial and corporate issues. Ceyda’s practice primarily focuses on complex capital market transactions and products including derivatives, structured products, securities lending, repos, banking activities in addition to cross-border transactions, company incorporations, corporate governance, large-scale commercial contracts, M&A's, listings and regulatory filings.

Özgün Muti OndörtoÄŸlu

Özgün Muti OndörtoÄŸlu joined the Firm as a Senior Associate in 2016. Özgün has extensive experience in Intellectual Property and Trademark Law, Labor Law, Advertisement Law, E-Commerce Law, Consumer Protection Law and Commercial Law.

 

Özgün specializes in unfair competition and trademark issues, patent and design registration processes, brand protection, and IP agreements and licenses. She is highly proficient in the sale and acquisition of IP rights, drafting and negotiation of e-commerce agreements, IT contracts, commercial contracts, B2B and B2C terms and conditions, and the review, drafting and negotiation of advertisement, distribution, media, and license agreements, as well as other service and commercial agreements. Özgün’s focus also includes  legal issues relating to web advertising, and Data Protection & Privacy matters.

 

She also represents clients in domain name disputes, unfair competition disputes, trademark and patent prosecution, and any other disputes related to trademark, patent and e-commerce issues.

 

Prior to joining our Firm, Özgün was legal counsel for leading corporate entities such as DoÄŸuÅŸ Holding, where she  worked for  a period of 10 years. She is a graduate of Marmara University, Faculty of Law (LLB, 2005) and Ä°stanbul Ticaret University, Faculy of Law (LLM, 2007). Özgün is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association (2006) and she is fluent in English.

Ozgun Muti

Duygu Kıyak

Duygu Kıyak

Duygu Kıyak joined the firm in 2017 after practicing in different law firms in Turkey.

 

She is a graduate of Galatasaray University Law School (LLB 2007). She obtained her Master degree from Sorbonne University on Private International Law and International Commercial Law (Master II, 2008). She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Istanbul Bilgi University on private law and LL.M. candidate at NYU School of Law on International Business Regulations, Litigation, and Arbitration.

 

Duygu represents international and domestic clients in a wide-range of practice areas and as a French-trained attorney assists clients based in France in their activities in Turkey. Her practice focuses on corporate transactions, liquidation processes, day-to-day corporate operations, commercial contracts, banking and capital markets. Duygu has also unique experience in international commercial arbitration cases under Turkish Private International Law, ICC and LCIA arbitration rules. 

 

She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association and Paris Bar Association. She is fluent in English and French.
